Syracuse Will Be Tough To Beat

Damien Rhodes camped at Michigan State this past summer and the Spartans are among the leaders for Rhodes' services. Syracuse could be the team to beat.

Damien Rhodes is a sensational athlete that excels on both sides of the ball. Rhodes is being recruited as a running back and he has led his team to a sectional championship.

"We start the state play-offs this weekend." Rhodes said. "We won our section and I think we have a good shot at winning a state championship."

Is there anything new with Rhodes' recruitment?

"I took an official visit to Boston College and that went very well. I don't have any other official visits set up right now. I'm going to wait until after the season to set up my other visits.

Michigan State and Wisconsin are still in the picture but Maryland is now starting to recruit me pretty hard.

Maryland is having a great year, I'm definitely going to look at them."

Is Syracuse in the drivers seat for Damien's services? After all, Manilus is only fifteen minutes away from the Syracuse campus.

I don't know if Syracuse is my leader because it's close to home. I like Syracuse for a lot of reasons."

The Orangemen seem to be in the drivers seat and they are having a fantastic year. Syracuse is 5-0 in the Big East and 8-2 overall.

Will Rhodes be running on the carpet of the Carrier Dome for the next four years? The next couple of months should be very interesting.
