Florida Running Back to Visit Michigan State

Michigan State is in the running for and may get a visit from one of Florida's top running back prospects.

RB Jerramy Scott 5-11 180 4.5 Palm Beach, Fla. (Garden Dwyer)

Florida's Jerramy Scott was in Hawkeye country last week and he was hosted on his Iowa visit by former Florida prep standout, Benny Sapp.

"I had a real good visit," Scott said. "The guys on the team really have a family atmosphere about them. I felt very comfortable around everyone.

We went to a basketball game and they announced the football team was going to a Bowl Game and the place went crazy.

I really liked how the fans cared about and supported the team. I wouldn't say I have a leader. I'm also looking at Michigan State, Florida, Georgia and Miami.

I'm going to set up visits with Michigan State and Georgia very soon."

Scott rushed for 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2001. Scott missed three games due to injury. Jerramy also had three interceptions this past season. As a junior, he had nine interceptions.
