"Michigan State (offer) and Toledo (offer) are my leaders. Both schools have offered me a scholarship," Moore told Chris Pool of Scout.com
Despite being among Scout.com's Midwest Hot 100 most of the visits he has set up are with MAC schools close to his native Illinois. "I'm going to Toledo (1-14) and Northern Illinois (1-28) on official visits," he said. He mentioned that Illinois, which now has former MSU recruiting coordinator Reggie Mitchell on staff, is making a late bid to get in for his services.
"Coach (Reggie) Mitchell from Illinois stopped by my school and I might visit Illinois also. "Coach Mitchell was recruiting me at Michigan State. We have a very good relationship. Illinois hasn't offered me a scholarship yet. Coach Mitchell was going to call me and talk to me about that."
Moore, a 5-foot-11, 175-pounder, from Chicago (Morgan Park) had 900 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2004. He was named all-state.
