Greg Oden and Mike Conley, two of the top basketball prospects from the Class of 2006, have scheduled a joint press conference next Wednesday, June 29.
Scout.com's Jeff Goodman is reporting that high school and AAU teammates, C Greg Oden (pictured) and PG Mike Conley, will attend college together; and that the final two schools on their list are Ohio State
and Wake Forest
If the Indianapolis Lawrence North duo chooses the Buckeyes over the Demon Deacons, OSU head coach Thad Motta will land one of the best prep basketball classes in recent memory. Oden and Conley would join AAU teammate Daequan Cook and Cleveland standout David Lighty, who have already verbally commited their services to the Buckeyes.
The official announcement of a final two for Oden and Conley end speculation that two other Big Ten schools, Michigan State and Indiana, were still in the running for Oden's services.
