Franchot "Boogie" Allen To Delay Decision

GSN has learned that "Boogie" Allen, the standout cornerback from Milford Academy, will delay his decision beyond Monday.

GSN spoke to Allen tonight and he said the following:

"I will not make a decision as it stands right now on Monday. I want a few days to think about it. Everyone is pretty much even right now."

GSN was also able to get an update with James Allison, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker from Lima, Ohio. "I am still being recruited by MSU, and visited Ball State yesterday," stated Allison.

"Coach Nussmeier and the other schools are looking at my A.C.T score. I took it three weeks ago and it should be back by next week. I'll have a decision by Febuary 1st."

"I'm down to Ball State, MSU and West Virginia," added Allison. "I'll be getting together with my high school coaches on Tuesday."

How are things going? "I've been busy, I work in a factory that makes boxes. You never know if I may have to pay for college," concluded Allison.

Hopefully, Allison will get the A.C.T score required so somebody else will pay for his future endeavors in college.

News and notes-

1. MSU could have a surprise mid-week visitor in Flint Southwestern Academy's Quintin Woods, a outstanding defensive end at 6-foot-6, 220-pounds. Woods has heavy interest in Missouri and Michigan. I talked to his brother, who said he and dad are leaning toward Michigan, but Quintin has a lot of friends in East Lansing, and still wants to check it out. We'll see what happens.

2. Defensive tackle Olufemi Ajiboye has eliminated MSU, and has chosen South Carolina.

3. Defensive tackle Ervin Baldwin is also set to make a decision, and right now it doesn't look great for the Spartans. We'll have to wait and see.

4. Recruit Abre Leggins might have some grade issues that could force him to go the JUCO route. Again, that is still up in the air at this writing.
