J' Michael Deane and Vaughn Martin pick MSU

Canadian big men J'Michael Deane and Vaughn Martin have committed to MSU, these are the second and third recruits to verbal to MSU this weekend.

OKEMOS,MI-GSN has learned that two Canadian big men have decided to play their football at MSU. As J'Michael Deane and Vaughn Martin have chosen the Spartans.

J'Michael Deane, a 6-foot-6, 290-pound defenisve tackle from Newtonbrook high school in Ontario, Canada has committed to MSU.

This falls on the heels of another recruit choosing the Spartans in wide receiver David Williams.

Deane had 41+ tackles and two sacks this years and runs an impressive 4.8 forty yard dash. He also was a OVFL All-Star this past year.

Deane chose MSU over Duke, Ohio U., and Penn State.

Vaughn Martin is a 6-foot-4 300-pound defensive linemen from Forest City London (ON). Vaughn runs a 5.09 forty yard dash and is a run stopper that the Spartans need in the middle.

Martin was considered the most impressive camper at the Montreal Combine. He will play for Team Canada in the Junior Global Championships.

Martin chose MSU over Ohio U., Penn State, and Toledo.
