Spartans Land Third 2007 Recruit

Michigan State has landed another solid player for the 2007 class. GSN takes a peek inside at the newest Spartan.

OKEMOS,MI-Michigan State has landed its third impact recruit of the season when Carman Ainsworth's George White committed to John L. Smith.

MSU has had previous success at Carman-Ainsworth in the form of current Spartan Otis Wiley.

White is an imposing linebacker at 6-foot-2 and 252-pounds. He has size and movement similar to that of a Cliff Ryan when he came out of Saginaw, as White also has the versatility to play a defensive line position.

White also has good speed, running a nifty 4.75 for a big man. He also is very physical, which will be needed in the Big Ten.

White joins previous 2007 commits Quincy Landingham, an athlete from Bloomfield Hills Lahser, and quarterback Keith Nichol from Lowell.
