Johnson, 6-0 and 190 pounds, is a two-way standout being recruiting as a wide receiver, cornerback and kick returner. "I can do all three," said Johnson. "Cornerback is my best position. I have a good combination of size and speed. To me though it really doesn't matter. I will work hard at any position and I just want to help my team."
This off-season Johnson has worked out off the field despite playing basketball and running track. "I have been getting up at 4a.m. and lifting weights. At first I was lifting three times a day now I am done to two. The hard work has paid off."
"They have all offered and so far I have already visited Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue and Notre Dame. I will take official visits to the other schools and I have no leader at this point.
"At this point I am looking at three things – academics, team chemistry and the coach's chemistry with the players and playing time and what position they want me to play and how I fit in."
Johnson recorded eight interceptions last season.
