Georgia running back Jonathan Dwyer may not be the most recruited back in all of the Peach State, but he is certainly one of them. MSU has been in on this rising Atlanta star for the start, offering him a scholarship early in the process, but landing the star from Kell HS will be a tough get for State.
Dwyer already has offers from Auburn, Boston College, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Oklahoma State along with the tender from MSU and appears to favor the Southern schools. When he attended the Georgia Tech camp, his stock soared to the point where over 50 schools have offered, excpet his favorite the Texas Longhorns.
"They haven't offered yet," he said, "but it they did they may be able to shoot up the list," said Dwyer who admitted he's been a Longhorns fans since boyhood.
While the odds are long, MSU isn't giving up. They need a feature back in the 2007 class and Dwyer fits the bill.
