Virginia TE still likes State

The Virginia standout is a three-star prospect according to Scout.com and among the top 25 tight end prospects in the nation. He has has trimmed his list to Clemson, California, Boston College, Michigan State and Virginia Tech.

Charlottesville St. Anne's-Belfield tight end Brian Linthicum has narrowed his list of prospective schools and still has MSU among his leaders.

Linthicum, a 6-foot-5, 260 pass catcher likes MSU's spread offense and the fact that Lowell HS quarterback Keith Nichol, one of the top prospects in the nation, has already committed to the school.

Linthicum has trimmed his list to Clemson, California, Boston College, Michigan State and Virginia Tech and is scheduled to visit both California and Virginia Tech this month. He took an earlier official visit to Michigan State.
