Dantonio Gets Second Verbal Committment

Dantonio has said he will not recruit all of his former Cincinnati recruits, but instead will consider the circumstances. However, there are expected to be at least a few more who will leap at the opportunity to play on the Big Ten stage.

EAST LANSING - Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio received his second verbal commitment of his tenure in East Lansing when Garrett Celek, a 6-foot-6, 228 pound tackle de-committed from Cincinnati and committed to Michigan State.

Celek, from LaSalle High School, took an official visit to Michigan State on Friday, then returned for Cinncinati's awards banquet where his brother Brent, received some awards. He then let Dantonio know that he wanted to attend Michigan State.

"The first thing we're trying to address is the people in Michigan State we're recruiting and people in Ohio, Michigan and throughout the Midwest. We're just trying to do our job," Dantonio told the Cincinnati Post
