Two more join fold for Spartans

David Duran, a solid tight end prospect from Marietta Kell and Joel Foreman, an unheralded blue collar prospect from Highland Milford (MI) received offers and verbally committed to Michigan State on Saturday.

DETROIT - Joel Foreman, an unheralded blue collar prospect from Highland Milford (MI) received an offer and verbally committed to Michigan State on Saturday.

Foreman, a big 6-foot-3, 293-pound two-sport star gave coach Mark Dantonio his verbal commitment after receiving an offer on his official visit this week.

While he is unrated by Scout.com, Foreman shows surprising agility to combine with his strength. He was a good enough athlete to play on the Milford baseball team and show signs of being a diamond in the rough.

He is expected to make the move inside and play guard at the collegiate level after starring at tackle for Milford.

Meanwhile David Duran, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound tight end prospect from Marietta Kell also verbally committed to Michigan State.

Duran, who was among the prospects that Dantonio's staff was recruiting at Cincinnati, quickly jumped at the opportunity to move to the Big Ten conference when he was offered a scholarship to MSU.
