EAST LANSING - A published report on parent company FoxSports.com says Michigan State sophomore guard Maurice Joseph has made the decision to transfer from the University.

The report, citing unnamed sources, says Joseph is transferring and hopes to get back closer to his home of Montreal Quebec. Joseph averaged 5.9 points per game and 17 minutes, but his playing time was expected to be severly limited by the presence of two ready-to-play freshmen, Redford Covenant Durrell Summers and Norcross Meadowcreek (GA)'s Chris Allen.
