The three-star linebacking prospects says of those 12 he has an offer from Michigan State and he is considering MSU seriously.
When it was mentioned to him that his top five spanned a great deal of the United States, Hill said that he really wasn't that concerned about being away from home.
He further mentioned that while he hasn't taken an official visit to East Lansing, he expected to do so in the future.
I asked Hill what he strong suits were. "I'm able to shed blocks and get to the ball carrier," he said. "I have good range and I'm able to make plays from sideline to sideline," said Hill. At 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, he has the protypical size for a linebacker and ran a 4.6 40-yard dash time. He finished his junior season with 98 tackles and 12 sacks.
While he projects as a weakside linebacker, Hill said he's willing to play where his future coaching staff would like.
When it comes to his choice of schools, Hill said he's "looking for a school where he can do well academically." He also said he's undecided on his field of study.
When asked when he thought he would make a decision Hill said it would likely be "sometime during my senior year, maybe not after the season, but once I feel comfortable, then I'll go ahead and make a decision."
GoSpartans.net will continue to follow the recruitment of Hill and report back to all of our readers.
