HIGHLAND PARK, MI - There's been a big change atop the leaderboard for the services of talented three-star prospect from Highland Park, MI., cornerback Jonathan Dandridge.
Dandridge let GSN know what took place in an interview on Sunday afternoon. "I'm loving it, they're my number one team," he said.
"They said they wanted to see me a little more and wanted to get to know what kind of person that I am," said Dandridge when asked about the offer.
Dandridge said he's bonded with coaches Enos and head coach Mark Dantonio, but even though he never saw him play, he has heard stories about defensive backs coach Harlon Barnett, the legendary "Mr. Bang Stick."
"He's real cool," Dandridge said of Coach Barnett. "(I never saw him play) but I heard he was out cold," laughed the 6-foot, 165-pound big cover corner.
"I'm probably going to wait until towards the end of the season to make a decision. I'm going to try to get in all five official visits first, then make a decision."
Dandridge confirms that MSU told him they are OK with him waiting until the end of his senior season to make a decision.
One thing he really likes about MSU was the home-like atmosphere in East Lansing.
"The campus is real nice, its beautiful. Everything is (centrally located) around the campus area. I like the atmospher the people were real nice. I met a few of the players and they seemed real down to earth," he said.
The bottom line?
"I can see myself wearing Green-and-White," said Dandridge.
