RECRUITING: State Gets Their "Guy"

Spartans grab another commitment from top linebacking prospect and move their total to ten.

EAST LANSING - Michigan State won on more than just the football field, they also won a battle on the recruiting gridiron.

According to the Andre Williams - reporter for the Leigh Valley, PA. Morning Call newspaper - Guy made a verbal commitment to Michigan State on Friday giving the Spartans their 9th commitment.

Guy, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker led HD Woodson in their loss to rival Easton, PA led by Jarred Holley, another player being heavily recruited by the Spartans.

Guy was first team all DCIAA at the weakside linebacker position and figures to make the transition to the position.

The Spartans beat out Colorado, Illinois, Rutgers and Wake Forest for the services of Guy.
