As the No. 9 Spartans try to avoid a second straight loss, they will have to do it in another hostile environment at Assembly Hall in Indiana.
Having lost to Purdue on Tuesday, MSU is now two games behind the Boilermakers for first in the Big Ten.
With Indiana losing to Wisconsin at home on Wednesday, it sets up a crucial game for both teams on Saturday night, trying to avoid two straight losses.
The No. 13 Hoosiers have been dominant at home against the Spartans in past years, with D.J. White having a big game last year.
The Hoosiers now add one of the top freshman in the country, Eric Gordon, who leads the Big Ten in scoring.
Both Gordon and White have been talked about as potential Big Ten Player of the Year candidates.
So how are the Spartans going to stop the Hoosiers and pull out huge conference win on the road?
GSN caught up with Travis Walton to talk about how he plans to guard Eric Gordon. It is one of the most interesting matchups to watch: Walton, one of the best defenders in the Big Ten against one of the most prolific scorers in Gordon.
Guarding D.J. White will be the MSU big-men's job. GSN talked with senior Drew Naymick about how to defend White and about playing his final game at Assembly Hall.
Indiana coach Kelvin Sampson has been under heat the last week for committing five NCAA violations dealing with illegal phone calls and recruiting.
GSN talked to MSU coach Tom Izzo to get his thoughts on Sampson's situation and the upcoming matchup.
GSN also caught up with freshman guard Kalin Lucas, who Tom Izzo said at times looked like he was playing by himself on Tuesday at Purdue.
Lucas scored a career-high 20 points and was the only Spartan to score more than two points in the first half.
GSN talked to Lucas about becoming a go-to-guy in the MSU offense as well as coach Izzo considering starting him over Travis Walton on Saturday night.
