EAST LANSING – Michigan State coach Tom Izzo felt a sense of relief after his team blew out Penn State 86-49 Wednesday night.
"Believe me, we needed a game like this after . . . what we've gone through in the last couple of weeks," he said after the game. "I thought we did a lot of good things, and maybe the best was the 30 assists and 35 baskets because that's a lot of unselfish play."
Watch Izzo talk about the importance of the runaway win, the increased use of the bench and more. Penn State's coach Ed DeChellis also shares his brief thoughts.
