Spartans Get Visit From Arkansas CB

The Spartans not only like his blood lines, but his speed. The Arkansas star was clocked at 4.4 in the 40 and, although small at 5-foot-9, 180 has the kind of ball skills that make him a prototypical cover corner. With Michigan State putting an emphasis on the defensive backfield in this recruiting class, expect the Spartans to give this player a long look when he comes camping in June.

Little Rock (AR) Catholic corner back Eric Redmon has one offer on the table already from Boston College, but he's hoping to add another one from Big Ten rising power Michigan State after his recent visit to East Lansing.

Redmon had an outstanding visit with the Michigan State coaching staff and has promised to return to the campus when the Spartans hold their summer camps this June.

If the name sounds familiar, you may remember his father as a player at both Louisiana Tech and Nebraska back in the 80s.
