As his production increased over the season, so did his offers. He now has tenders from Central Florida, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia and West Virginia.

Defensive end James Kittredge of Don Bosco (NJ) Prep has received a scholarship offer from Michigan State GoSpartans.net has learned.

Kittredge played mostly offensive line last season but developed into a factor as a pass rusher for the Ironmen.

As his production increased over the season, so did his offers. He now has tenders from Central Florida, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Virginia and West Virginia.

There were early reports that stated that Kittredge favored South Carolina because his father played there, but he dispelled that notion in no uncertain terms telling The State newspaper, "Just because he played there doesn't mean I want to play there."

In fact, he says he's wide open to any schools that chose to offer him a scholarship. "You cannot go wrong with a D-1 school," he said.
