EAST LANSING - Saginaw wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett is arguably the top receiver in the state of Michigan. Arnett was the Offensive MVP of the Chicago Scout.com combine and after the commitment of the Defensive MVP Mylan Hicks to Michigan State, could Arnett be next?

That's the question that we had to ask after Arnett showed his skills once again, this time in the presence of the Michigan State coaching staff at their one-day camp Saturday in East Lansing.

The result: Arnett received a scholarship offer from Michigan State and now has a decision to make. Will he commit and follow in the footsteps of the player he grew up watching and imitating, MSU All-American Charles Rogers.

GSN's Sean Scherer sat down for a one-on-one with Arnett and this is what the super talent had to say about his visit.

Scherer: What did you hope to accomplish by attending the MSU camp on Saturday?
Arnett: "The whole purpose of coming to Michigan State's camp was to get offered, to make sure I secured an offer and that's what I did. My play went really well, because I got the offer."

Scherer: Which coach offered you?
Arnett: "Coach Barnett offered me at the end of the camp and I was pretty much happy about the whole thing. I really wanted an offer from Michigan State."

Scherer: There are a lot of similarities so far between Rogers career and your's right?
Arnett: "It's crazy, I mean we went to the same high school, he went to State and now that State just offered me, it's kind of crazy."

Scherer: That catch Rogers made against Notre Dame really made an impression on you, did you get flashback when you were working out on that field?
Arnett: "I was thinking about that because it was against Notre Dame so I was hoping that we had moved closer to the end zone so I could try to make that same catch, that's waht I was thinking the whole time."

Scherer: What is it about Rogers' skills that stands out in your mind?
Arnett: "Just how he ran smooth routes and how he was always able to create separation."

Next up:--Arnett talks about the Michigan State coaching staff and where the program stands with him in his recruitment.
