Spartans Roundball Recruits analyst Ryan Wallace breaks down performances this week from several Michigan State basketball recruits. See who they are, and how they performed!

This is a new feature that will keep you update as how the future of MSU basketball is shaping up in the high school ranks. I will be bringing it two you twice a week until the end of March.

Shannon Brown – Proviso East High School (Maywood, Ill.). On Monday, Brown scored 29 points and led his Proviso East squad to a 62-57 win over Pekin. Last Saturday, the 6-foot-3 guard scored 20 points and led his team to a win over Southfield Lanphier, which is led by Illinois recruit Richard McBride, who had 24 points and 14 rebounds.

Brandon CottonDetroit Deporres (Detroit, MI). On Tuesday night Cotton, a senior guard, poured in 31 points and dished out 8 assists to led his team to a 77-59 victory over Detroit Benedictine.

Drew Naymick – North Muskegon High School (Muskegon, MI) The 6-foot-10 senior forward did not have a game on Tuesday. Naymick will face off against Shelby on Friday.

Drew Neitzel – Wyoming Park High School (Wyoming, MI). On Tuesday, the junior who committed after his sophomore season poured in 23 points to lead the Vikings to an 86-57 win over Sparta. Neitzel also posted a 36-point effort in a win over Hastings.
