Four More Leave MSU Program For Good

Four players transfer out of the program and will not return giving Michigan State more room to offer scholarships to players in the 2010 class. Ashton Leggett will head to Illinois State, Jahmiihr Williams to Northeast Mississippi CC., while Bryden Trawick visited Tennessee. Johnson's destination is unknown.

Running back Ashton Leggett, defensive end Jahmiihr Williams, safety Brynden Trawick and defensive tackle Ishmyl Johnson have left the MSU program and will not return.

Eight other players have been reinstated by the Spartans and will have a chance to regain playing time over the winter conditioning program and spring football practice.

Of the eight reinstated players; B.J. Cunningham, Mark Dell, J'Michael Deane, Chris L. Rucker and Fred Smith must still face misdemeanor charges in connection with a fight in a dormatory on campus.

Wide receivers Chris D.Rucker and Fred Smith were not charged, another backup wide receiver, Myles White was ticketed for a minor offense.

The moves announced today give Michigan State more room in their 2010 recruiting class to offer to prospective student athletes who can fill a need by today's departures.
