MSU head coach Tom Izzo says forget the snow and get out to tonight's White-Out game against #6 Purdue. The game has taken on added urgency for MSU who as recently as last week held a three game lead over second-place Wisconsin and Illinois, lost to both on the road and now how a tenuous one-game over both and just a 1 1/2 game lead over third place Purdue.

After back-to-back losses at Wisconsin and at Illinois, Michigan State has declared Tuesday's must-win against third-place Purdue a "White-Out".

In a press release issued by the Michigan State Athletic Department they urged fans "to wear white to the MSU-Purdue men's basketball game on Feb. 9 as a gesture of uniform support for the Spartans."

The Spartans and Boilermakers will tip off at 9 p.m. White t-shirts are available at GMC Kiosk on the Breslin Center concourse outside Section 110. Fans can receive a free t-shirt in exchange for filling out a short GMC survey.
