SD Ranking: #55

Nick Hill

Position: Running Back

Exp: High School – 1 Spring

Players that come into college early you never know what you're going to get. Some surprise while others find the going tough as they adjust to college life and going against guys bigger, stronger and faster. For Nick Hill his spring was full of surprises as he showed the skills that made him a huge target for the Spartans.

Strengths: Tough, quick with great cutback abilities.

Weakness: Youth and lack of game experience.

Overall: There is a lot to be excited about when you talk about Nick Hill. With two young backs already ahead of him, it will be a choice made by the coaching staff if they want to use him now or redshirt to give him that extra year. Either way we feel he's a solid candidate to play a big role even on the Scout team in 2010 and could push up the depth chart if there are injuries.

Why He Made The List: With a solid spring performance Hill showed early he's a player with a bright future. While he may end up being redshirted, there is a chance if an injury occurs he could be put into action.
