Position: Defensive End
Exp: Redshirt Junior
Has continued to improve over the course of his career and will be looking to add more playing time this fall. While short in height, Strayhorn does a good job of keeping his pad level low and using leverage.
Strengths: Physical strength, quickness.
Overall: Over the years Mark Dantonio has shown he has no problem playing shorter defensive ends that can get off the ball. Strayhorn has continued to give the effort needed to get playing time and will look to push those looking to earn a starting spot.
Why He Made The List: Solid player who should continue to improve by the time the season rolls around. Has 19 games under his belt and has worked hard since coming from Harmony Prep School.
