Spartan 66 Player Ranking #50

In looking at players on the current roster and players getting ready to enter Michigan State this fall, SpartanDigest.com presents its Spartan 66 Rankings. What is our reason for naming sixty-six Spartans? Michigan State last won a National Championship in 1966. We're now at player #50.

SD Ranking: #50

Josh Rouse

Position: Fullback / Special Teams

Exp: 5th Year Senior (Medical)

Another player that has earned his way with hard work and desire is Josh Rouse. Last season Rouse was given a medical redshirt and should provide leadership.

Strengths: Work ethic, toughness, heart.

Weakness: Solid but not great athlete.

Overall: While he'll never be a superstar, Josh Rouse is a solid hard nose football player willing to do what is asked of him. Solid special team's player who also can play fullback, Rouse is the type of guy Mark Dantonio really takes to.

Why He Made The List: If he can come back from his injury, Josh Rouse will provide a solid player capable of doing the small things needed to help a team win.
