"I really like Michigan State. Coach Roushar and I have good communication and I feel there is chemistry between us."
While Diamond has plenty of time to learn more about programs that will have interest in him, he does have some long term goals that he feels could be accomplished at MSU.
"I know Coach Roushar is a great coach and he's capable of getting player into the league. I know that is a long way off but you have to feel you can achieve your goals."
While Jordan knows his football career is still in its younger stages. He knows his position coach along with other coaches on a staff will play a very important role in his success. He's learning about the Spartans staff.
"I think a lot goes into the love a coaching staff has for its players. There will come times when you need to lean on your coaches and I feel Coach Roushar is the type of coach I'll be able to go to and do that with. I've heard really good things about all the Michigan State coaches and look forward to learning more about them."
Diamond along with teammate Darren Monroe has been making the rounds with their teammate and upperclassman Chris Bryant. While Bryant has picked up his share of offers, he's yet to get one from the Spartans. Could Bryant's decision play a role in where he'll go?
"We all have a strong family bond. Our goal is for each of us to do what is best for us and not just follow the others. While Chris will leave us, others will step in and take his place while we'll take on the role he left behind. "
While there is still time for Bryant and Diamond to both earn Spartan offers, there are other ties to the state of Michigan that Diamond holds as his grandmother lives in Saginaw.
