SD Ranking: #8

Joel Foreman

Position: Offensive Guard

Exp: Redshirt Junior

Entering the 2010 season, Joel Foreman is a known asset on the Michigan State roster. With 23 starts already behind him, Foreman is a leader and solid player who continues to get better and should be considered for All-Big Ten honors at the end of the season .

Strengths: Great physical ability, game experience.

Weakness: Must not take any steps back in development.

Overall: The prototype Big Ten offensive guard is Joel Foreman and he continues to get better with each snap. A veteran with 25 career games behind him, Foreman will be counted on by Mark Dantonio to provide leadership on and off the field.

Why He Made The List: You do not start 23 college games under Mark Dantonio unless you have shown great ability. Joel Foreman has done that and more over the course of his career at Michigan State. While Foreman has been able to go in the shadows the past two seasons, this year he'll be pushed out into the forefront as the Spartans look to fight towards a Big Ten Championship.
