Lovell Peterson is no stranger to Michigan State. With former Wayne Warrior Jerel Worthy making an impact for the Spartans, Peterson has been able to watch someone like him do well at the college level.

At 6-foot-4, 270-pounds, Lovell Peterson may well be the next top recruit after Braxton Miller heads off to Ohio State. A starter last season, Peterson found the move from guard to tackle one that agreed with him and the Wayne offensive attack. watched Peterson in a recent scrimmage to check on his progress.

A year ago, Lovell Peterson entered high school without much fan fare. However, by the end of the football season, Peterson was hearing his name talked about as the next top recruit to come out of the Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne program.

While he has moved to tackle, his future at this point looks to be more towards being an inside player as he uses quick feet, long arms and strength to win battles. Peterson will have to make some adjustments to his game as he now has a new offensive line coach, but from watching him in action, it looks as if he has done a lot of work in the offseason to prepare to show college programs watching he is serious about taking his game to another level.

With former Wayne standout Jerel Worthy now making waves at Michigan State, Peterson will have a great chance to learn more about the Spartans in the coming years.
