J.T. Floyd had a -1 TFL, then Iowa had a short completion, then Jordan Kovacs had a TFL on 3rd down at the 11:44 mark.
Gallon took the 51 yard punt at the U-M 15.
Denard ran it to the U-M 27, then went down with an injury to the right upper arm/shoulder.

On 1st down Smith fumbled and Iowa recovered at the Iowa 15 at the 6:54 mark.

Two plays later Tate hit Stonum at the Iowa 45.
On 3rd down Tate hit Je'Ron Stokes at the Iowa 34.
On the next play Tate hit Stonum at the Iowa 17.
On 2nd down Iowa got an interference call, first down at the U-M 5.
Two plays later Hopkins scored at the 13:10 mark.
Iowa 28, Michigan 14
The kickoff went out of bounds, so Iowa started at their 40.
On the first play Iowa ran it to the U-M 25.
Three plays later Iowa hit a pass for the TD at the 11:37 mark.

Two plays later Tate hit Stonum at the Iowa 34.
On the next play Tate hit Hemingway at the Iowa 3.
Tate scored on the next play at the 6:55 mark.

Another kickoff out of bounds put the ball at the Iowa 40.
An illegal formation took it back to the Iowa 35, then Iowa hit a pass for 10, then U-M hit Iowa for a -4 TFL, then on 3rd and 9 Iowa hit a pass to the U-M 42.
Iowa ran for 1, then Stanzi scrambled for no gain, then Iowa passed-ran it 26 to the U-M 14. There the drive stalled.
Iowa kicked a 30 yard field goal at the 2:53 mark.
Iowa 38, Michigan 28
Gallon took the kickoff to the U-M 37.
Tate threw an incompletion, then Tate scrambled and went down at the 28, then Tate threw an interception at the U-M at the 1:54 mark.

U-M gained 522 yards, 312 passing and 210 rushing.
Iowa gained 385 yards, 248 passing and 137 rushing.
Denard had 18 carries for 104 yards, and was 13-18 passing for 71 yards, a TD, and an int.
Tate was 17-26 for 239 yards, a TD and 2 ints.
VIncent Smith also had a fumble.
