DT Shawn Lazarus, 6-4 290 - Second on the defense line in tackles in 2002 with 30 tackles, to go along with 5 tackles for loss and 1 sack.

POSITIVES: Lazarus is a two-gap type defensive lineman who can tie up offensive linemen so the linebackers can make plays. He is a good run stopper and a good tackler that will be only a run stopping defensive tackle in the NFL. He has good strength, both upper and lower body.

NEGATIVES: Lazarus doesn't have great pass rushing ability, speed or quickness. He lacks great size to be a starting two down NFL run stopping defensive tackle.

BOTTOM LINE: Lazarus will go un-drafted but will be an un-drafted rookie free agent that will have a good shot at making an NFL roster. He will be a project that will need sometime to develop, but has a good chance to develop with some time and add size.
