Do you have a top 5?

Right now, it's Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Pitt, and Virginia.

Did you have a favorite team growing up?

Penn State.

Have you visited any of the schools that you're looking at yet?

Yeah, I've visited Pitt and Penn State. I'm going to be visiting Michigan, Ohio State, and Virginia over my spring break in two weeks.

What offers do you have so far?

I've got offers from Pitt, Penn State, Michigan State, Syracuse, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Duke. I thought Michigan was – that's why I'm going up there: to see if maybe they'll offer me.

Are you planning to go to the Penn State Nike camp?

I'm going to Virginia Tech's, actually. I went to the Penn State one last year.

Do you plan to go to any of the school run summer camps?

No, I don't think so. I think I'll just take some unofficial visits over the summer.

What are you looking for in a school?

Good academics, coaching staff, nice stadium, style of play: like their schemes and stuff.

What position is Michigan recruiting you at?

Nose guard.

How would you describe yourself as a player?

I play real low to the ground and have good leverage. I have strong powerful legs, so I'm good at plugging up the holes, and I'm real quick off of blocks.

Do you think that you'll decide early, or take all of your visits?

I plan to take all my visits.

A.Q. Shipley rates as's #5 player in Pennsylvania, and Max Emfinger rates him as the nation's #1 offensive center.
