"University of Michigan Athletic Director Bill Martin agreed Friday night to serve as president of the U.S. Olympic Committee."
"He ... has not said that he would need to leave Michigan to serve the USOC."
Ed. note: it will be interesting to see if Martin can effectively serve both posts, in light of U-M's need over the next several years for facilities improvements.
