Tight End Price taking his time

2012 tight end prospect Sean Price has just about everyone knocking at his door for his services. Sean tells GBW exactly what he is looking for during this recruiting period.

Oh what fun it must be to have so many choices from which to choose from -- that is the position Sean Price out of North Marion High in Citra, Florida sits in right now. The attention has not given him the big head, but rather it is becoming old hat to him.

"I am used to the process right now. The coaches talk to me about some of the same things -- telling me I can play right away and how I fit into their offense."

Sean is looking for a certain style of offense that he can fit into with his 6'4, 225 pound frame.

"I want to play in a pro style offense, one that throws the ball down field and gets the tight ends involved."

At this time he has 3 teams that are on the top on his list ... things could change but these three stand above the rest.

"I like Florida, Miami and South Florida. I get along with the coaching staffs and they all need tight ends. I grew up a fan of the Gators but those are my top three."

There is another school that has piqued his interest as well, and this school is up North. Sean was a bit surprised by this team's offer.

"I was really excited to receive the Michigan offer. They are a football school that I didn't expect to offer with me, being down here and all. They run a pro-style offense and get the ball to their tight ends. I would like to attend one of their camps this summer."

As Sean interviews teams and gathers information on them, he has a list of what he would like schools that he is interested in to have.

"I am looking for a high graduation rate. I would like for that school to have my major which is business. I would like to know about the school's history of coaches. And I would like to know about the diversity on the staff."

The young man feels that he has a lot to offer as well.

"I bring leadership to the table, and electricity, along with playmaking skills. I help my teammates through adversity -- when they are down I bring them up. I want to play with teammates I can trust on and off the field."

Sean is currently standing at 20 offers, but that is a number that is sure to grow as schools continue to look his way for a big time tight end prospect.
