GoBlueWolverine reached David Sedmak of Shaker Heights HS, coach of WR/DB Michael Bell (6-1, 180 lbs., 4.5 in the forty). Coach Sedmak filled us in on the recruitment of the top Ohio prospect, who also ranks as Max Emfinger's #5 wide receiver nationally.
Was he at U-M this winter?
"Yes, he went to a Michigan Junior Day last winter."
What position do you see Michael playing in college?
"I like him better as a wide receiver. He has good speed and good hands, and he runs good routes. He's also tough and smart."
Has Michigan offered?
"I don't believe Michigan has offered him yet."
Does he plan to attend any Nike Camps?
"Yes, he's going to the Michigan Nike Camp."
Do you know if he has a leader?
"I think Michigan is his leader right now."
Is Erick Anderson (former UM linebacker) coaching at Shaker Heights?
"Yes, we do have Erick Anderson coaching here right now. He's finishing up his work to be a teacher, and hopes to stay on and teach and coach here."
