Deon Bush still likes Michigan

Defensive back Deon Bush out of Christopher Columbus high in Miami is taking it all in as far as his recruiting is concerned. He tells GBW if he is getting any pressure to stay home, and where Michigan stands with him.

There is an awful lot of attention being directed towards's #222 prospect Deon Bush, and it is coming from a school that is very close to where he goes to high school.

"Everyone is on me about going to the University of Miami," he told GoBlueWolverine. "It is close to home and I understand that—but I have to look at what is the best situation for me. And that is what I am looking at during this process."

Clearly Bush has an understanding of what is best for him and the direction he wants schools to go in if a college to have him as a student-athlete.

"I want a good program that develops you and gets you ready to play at a high level. Having a family atmosphere is very important to me as well."

Bush expressed many of those thoughts about a certain school up north that he has had contact with.

"I still feel the same way about Michigan as before—I like them they are recruiting me hard. I talk with Coach Montgomery. We have a real good vibe together he is a cool coach. He wants me to get up to Michigan and I want to get up there as well. Coach Montgomery says he wants me to be a part of the program. I also talk with Coach Mallory the defensive backs coach—he writes me a lot."

Right now the 6-1 DB with the 4.4 40 time says he just wants to work on getting better and stronger for the upcoming season.

"At this time I am working hard so that we can have a successful season and win the state title in football."
