U-M Nike: All The Div. One Prospects

Okay, this isn't really all of them. There were too many kids (300+) for Sam, Matt and I to spot them all. However, here are all the kids (35 or so) we spotted who may be Big-Ten-caliber prospects.

Quarterbacks: a very good list, the best yet in the three State of Michigan Nike Camps

1. Brian Hoyer QB St. Ignatius Cleveland OH

Wide Receivers: another very good group, comparable to the Tabb/Brown/Shabaj group two years ago

1. Fred Davis WR Rogers Toledo OH
2. Adrian Arrington WR Washington Cedar Rapids IA
3. Michael Bell WR Shaker Heights Cleveland OH
4. Isaac Price WR Southfield Southfield MI

2. Ronald Talley DE Renaissance Detroit MI
3. Jr. Terrance Taylor DT Muskegon Muskegon MI
4. Carvin Nash DT Pershing Detroit MI
5. Will Johnson DL/OL Lake Orion Lake Orion MI

Linebackers: a very good group which (along with QB's and WR's) may have gotten the most college-coach attention

1. Marcus Freeman LB Wayne Huber Hts. OH
2. Kyle Williams LB Bolingbrook Bolingbrook IL
3. Brandon Logan LB/RB Lexington Catholic Lexington KY
4. Roger Allison RB/LB Lake Orion Lake Orion MI

Defensive Back: not a great group, but Stewart stood out

1. Charles Stewart DB Harrison Farmington Hills MI
2. Charles Bailey RB/DB Northrop Fort Wayne IN
Were they there? Signed up, but I didn't see them:
- Antoine Carr DB/WR Pontiac Central Pontiac MI
- Dwayne Holmes ATH Henry Ford Detroit MI
- Zach Logan DB Trotwood-Madison Trotwood OH

Once again, as a comparison, I would say the PSU Nike had 50% more Div. One caliber kids than the U-M Nike, and next week's Texas A&M Nike, which I plan to attend, will probably have twice as many (or at least last year's did).

Not in attendance at the U-M Nike (as far as I could see, and Sam, Matt and I helped with the processing of all the kids); we would've loved to see them:

- John Thompson LB Detroit Crockett
- Bernard Faithful DE Detroit Martin Luther King
- Demarco Hughes OL Detroit MacKenzie
- Jamaal Gause OLB/DE Harper Woods Trinity
- Fred Wilson RB Detroit MacKenzie
- Carthion Bibbs LB Saginaw
- DeMarcus Laury RB Saginaw
- Dewayne Roland DE Southfield-Lathrup
- Josh Hunt DE Jackson Lumen Christi
