First Chad Henne, the 6-3 230+ pound strongman from West Lawn, Pa., Wilson in East-Central Pa.
Who are your favorites, Chad?
"My favorites are Michigan, Tennessee, and Penn State."
Did you get up to Michigan this spring?
"I haven't been to Michigan yet. But Coach Loeffler and Coach Boccher were just at my school this past week. I will visit Michigan for a couple days in the summer."
Any summer camp plans?
"I'm not going to any summer camps."
What will be the deciding factor in your decision? The depth chart?
"I will look at depth charts ... it's the communication with the coaches that's real important to me."
What is your decision timetable?
"I'm thinking about deciding before the season starts. That would be nice. But if that doesn't work out, then I'll wait. "
Anthony Morelli, the 6-3+, 200 pound gunslinger from Pittsburgh Penn Hills.
First I spoke to Anthony himself: Who are your favorites, Anthony?
"I don't have a top five yet. I'll be traveling to campuses this summer, and Michigan will be one of the visits."
But then Anthony ran off to the position drills, and his father Greg was more expansive in answering the question:
"Anthony's top schools are Tennessee, UCLA, Michigan, Iowa and Pitt. Coach Loeffler was just at the school Friday. He said he was wowed by Anthony's arm."
What is Anthony's decision timetable?
"He wouldn't mind making a summer decision if he finds the right place for him."
Dad-Greg was worried about Anthony's physical readiness for the day -- he needn't have been!
"Anthony is working out with a tight back today -- his coach overworked him a little in the weight room this week."
