U-M wins 28-7. 2nd Half Drives, Stats

Michigan and SDSU went 7-7 in the second half as both went on a turnover fest -- U-M with 2 ints and a fumble, SDSU with 2 fumbles. But U-M wins, 28-7.

SECOND HALF

Michigan Possession #1

A touchback took the kickoff to the U-M 20.

Three runs took it to the U-M 35.

Two plays later Denard threw an interception at the U-M 48 the 12:27mark.

SDSU Possession #1

A 1st down holding call took it back to the SDSU 42, and the drive stalled at the 11:11 mark.

Michigan Possession #2

Jeremy Gallon took the punt from the U-M 3 to the U-M 24.

On 3rd down Denard threw a 2nd interception at the U-M 40 at the 10:10 mark.

SDSU Possession #2

On the 3rd play Ronnie Hillman broke loose but fumbled at the U-M 7 at the 9:20 mark.

Michigan Possession #3

U-M ran it twice to the U-M 18.

On 3rd down Denard hit Vincent Smith on a screen for 32 to the SDSU 47.

On 2nd down Denard hit Drew Dileo on a quickie over the middle for 18 yards to the SDSY 29.

There the drive stalled, and Brendan Gibbons missed a 40 yard field goal at the 3:20 mark.

SDSU Possession #3

(Floyd out with a bell-ringer, Blake Countess in, as well as Courtney Avery) Starting at their own 23, SDSU went 3 and out.

Michigan Possession #4

Gallon fair caught the punt at the U-M 30 at the 2:39 mark.

Stephen Hopkins fumbled on the first play at the U-M 38 at the 2:32 mark.

SDSU Possession #4

SDSU completed a 3rd down pass to the U-M 27.

A flag took it back to the U-M 32, but 2 plays later SDSU completed a pass to the U-M 17.

On the next play SDSU hit a TD pass at the 2:28 mark.

On the next play Toussaint ran 10 to the SDSU 17.

Toussaint ran 9 to the 8, then Smith ran it in for the TD at the 6:29 mark.
