“It was a good atmosphere,” Dunn said regarding the Saturday afternoon spectacle at the Big House. “That was first time going to an Ohio State - Michigan game at Michigan, and it was a good experience. I think it was more intense (than last week's game versus Nebraska). It was a more important game, the game was close, and it was more fun. The coaches were very happy about winning and they were talking about how they wanted me to come down there. They were all hugging me and just very happy about me coming down two weeks in row.”
“Either way my decision goes, I’m going to be a part of the biggest rivalry in college football, so I’m thankful for that.”
Dunn was again joined on the trip by his father, who is doing his best to help guide his down what has turned out to be a long and winding recruiting road.
“It was a good game… real good,” the elder Dunn stated. “It was a battle of the rivals. As far as recruiting, he has to wrap up a few things. He is taking an online class right now. He is trying to do what he needs to do (to pick a school and graduate early). We’ll be making our visits and then do what we need to do. We’ll take a couple of more visits.”
“Before I make my decision I have to visit other colleges and talk to other coaches,” Brionte added. “I’ll put all of that together and make my decision by that. I’m looking for a good education, somewhere I’m comfortable, and somewhere I can play at with teammates that are like my family.”
With every passing day, the urgency to find that destination increases substantially. As a planned mid-year enrollee, Dunn only has three weeks in December to get in all of his official visits (the NCAA mandated dead period goes from December 18th – January 3rd). That is unless he plans to take visits in January. At that point some schools may have already begun their winter terms. The Canton GlenOak star stated previously that Michigan is in line to receive one of the aforementioned visits, but the Maize & Blue won’t be resting on its laurels.
Said Dunn, “Fred Jackson is supposed to be coming to visit my school next week.”
