Hayden Good At Hiden' Favs

George W. Bush is looking for a new Press Secretary, and we have a nomination. Wis. DE Nick Hayden is always open to talk when we call, but he's under total control of the info given out!

I talked Monday evening to defensive end Nick Hayden (6-5, 270 lbs., 4.8 in the 40, 320-lb. bench press, 28-inch vertical jump, 3.0 GPA) from Hartland, Wis., Arrowhead.

Are you out of school yet?

"No. We have exams next week."

Have you decided where you are going to visit this summer?

"Not yet. I already went to Michigan once already to visit, in the early spring. But there's a good chance I'll make another one there."

Do you still plan to make a summer decision?

Might you come over to Michigan during their camp week?

"I don't know. But I'm not working out at any camps. Arrowhead has it's own summer camp."

Do you have a list of favorites?

I've seen Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Iowa listed for you. Are those four of your top schools?

"Well, yeah. But there could be more; I'm still open right now."

As a junior Hayden had approx. twenty sacks, and averaged approx. ten tackles a game for the 10-2 Arrowhead. Michigan offered him a scholarship when he made his first U-M visit.
