Podcast: Meet Andrew David

The first commitment in the recruiting class, Massillon (Ohio) Washington kicker Andrew David joined Sam Webb to recap his recruitment, explain his rationale for picking Michigan, discusses being a Wolverine in the Buckeye State, and much much more.

"To kick at the highest level successfully, it's more than just having a strong leg, and there's no question David has that. Kicking for Massillon, he was exposed to kicking under pressure at an early age and he succeeded wonderfully. After having an off year as a junior due to various injuries, many people were anxious to see how David would respond as a senior."

"He made several clutch kicks throughout the year, including field goals on successive weeks that led to wins over Massillon Perry and Canton GlenOak. Included among his longest field goals were ones from 48, 49 and a school record 58 yard effort. His kickoffs routinely sail into the end zone, and he punted for nearly a 40-yard average this past season. David is also a solid athlete, and has played quarterback for Massillon. He is also an excellent baseball player." - Bill Greene
