"Perry is a technician who runs great routes and has sure hands. I've often said, I think you could put him on just about any team in America and he will find a way to contribute because he knows how to get open, catches everything and is a competitive kid. He catches the ball naturally away from his hands, is crisp in his routes and quick out of his breaks. Where I think he has been underappreciated is in his ability to make things happen after the catch. He's not a big kid, but he's not small either and he's added good size and strength over the last year. He's also not a track star, but he has good football speed. He's an ideal fit in the slot and a kid that will catch a ton of passes wherever he lines up."
"Michigan will now pair him with high school quarterback Alex Malzone again. The two had a great rapport and sense of timing in high school and that should continue on the next level. Some fans may want the 6-foot-4 gazelles out there, but I am confident Perry will outperform a lot of taller guys with better 40 times than him because he's a pure football player and has always been productive everywhere we've seen him." - Allen Trieu
