The head coach of Kyle Mitchum (6-5, 265 lbs., 5.0 in the 40) from Erie, Pa., McDonald told me:
"We went to the Michigan camp for a day, on Monday. We also spent a day at Ohio State."
"It really went well on Monday or Kyle. Kyle really liked the coaches: Coach Carr, Coach Moeller, Coach Loeffler. Coach Carr really had his ducks in order -- when he met with Kyle in his office and offered him a scholarship Carr knew all about Kyle, our school, our town, even people who live in our town. We met with Carr for about 40 minutes."
"Now we are on our way to West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and NC-State."
Does Kyle have a favorites list?
"Kyle has narrowed things to a top ten, and Michigan is in it. By the end of next week he will have visited six or seven of his top ten. We'll try to see the rest in late July, after a series of team camps our team is going to. There are no rules on high school team camps in Pa. so we're going to several."
"But Kyle wants to get it down to a top five or six as soon as possible."
