Bailey shouts out Michigan -- visit coming up

2013 WR prospect Alvin Bailey out Florida had twitter all a buzz with a few comments he made yesterday. GBW caught with him yesterday just to see what all the fuss was about.

Social media now appears to be the place to make statements to catch the attention of recruiters, fans and just about anyone that is paying attention these days. For some it is a way to get their message out to let people know what they are thinking. Enter Alvin Bailey who yesterday typed in #GOBLUE #Wolverine at 2:31pm. Although we didn't put him up to it to rep our website, he did have other reasons for communicating what he wanted to say. "Well I put it out there that I am very interested in Michigan," he told GoBlueWolverine. "I will be going up there next week to find out what Michigan is all about."

Bailey does have a reference to lean on for knowing a little about the Maize and Blue, considering his teammate Leon McQuay visited roughly one month ago. It is in these conversations that piqued his interest to get to know more about The Wolverines.

"Leon came back from his visit and told me what a good time that he had up there," Bailey said. "He talked about how cool the players are, that the coaches were cool too, and that the academics are BIG. Leon and I have talked about going to college together sometime, but that is not something we talk about a lot."

Alvin has also had a chance to speak with a few of the coaches at Michigan to learn a bit more about that school up North.

"Coach Montgomery is who I have been talking with. He told me he wanted me to come up to Michigan and play. Coach Hecklinski (wide receivers coach) told me to come and play for him. I am looking forward to meeting both of them next week."

With his visit coming up next week, Bailey clearly understands is important that he sees and feels while on his visit to Ann Arbor.

"I need to see what the atmosphere is like with the coaches and players -- the type of vibe that they have at Michigan." What kind of vibe is he looking for? "Academics, a stable coaching staff, a coaching staff that I can talk to about more than just football and playing time. Those are the things I am looking for when I come to visit Michigan."

As far as his football exploits on the field he has a few things he wants to do as well.

"I want to fit in -- every time I touch the ball I want to make plays."

With social media outlets like twitter all a buzz Michigan certainly wouldn't mind if let everyone know that Michigan is his school of choice -- loud and clear.
