Ricky Barnum: "I learned a lot from Molk. Molk is a very intelligent guy. I learned how to push through a lot of different things. I learned how to be tough. I learned how to be a lot of things. You know Molk is one of those guys that you like to have around. He is a great impact on the whole offensive line not just one."
GBW: What are your expectations individually going into this season?
Ricky Barnum: "My expectation is just to win the Big Ten Championship. That is my expectation. I am not an ‘I' guy. I'm a very team guy. So as a team we want to win the Big Ten Championship. I don't have any personal goals. I feel if I achieve the Big Ten Championship then I achieved my goal."
GBW: How focused is this team compared to past seasons? Could you say they are a little more focused then in the past?
Ricky Barnum: "Yes sir, this team is very focused. We were focused last year and we are focused this year. This team is very hungry. Obviously last year we failed. We didn't win the Big Ten Championship. But this team is very hungry. Just like last year's team, we were very hungry.
GBW: How gelled is the offensive line through fall camp? Do you see offensive line as a cohesive unit already?
Ricky Barnum: "We have always been a cohesive unit. I mean, we have been together for a year. We have been in the offense for a year. You know coach (Al) Borges has higher expectations for us, because we have been in the program for a year. A lot of us have played a lot of football. Far as gelling, I wouldn't say we're gelling. It's more like this is a brotherhood. Our offensive line-- our offense--we are brothers. We are there for each other."
