Catching Up With Bama WR Nikita Stover's #70 prospect, Nikita Stover from Hartselle Ala., grew up a Wolverine fan but as of mid-June had not sent his film in to Michigan. We got the latest from him Sunday night.

I asked Nikita Stover (6-1, 188 lbs., 4.45 in the 40, 39 inch vertical jump, 2.3 GPA/17 ACT) from Hartselle, Ala.:

Are you still interested in Michigan?

"Yes sir!"

Has Michigan seen your film yet?

"No sir. My coach still has to send it to them. He IS going to do it though."

Have you attended any summer camps?

"Yes. I've met the Alabama coaches at the Alabama camp."

Have you taken any unofficial visits?

"No sir."

Who has offered you a scholarship?

"Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Clemson, South Carolina, Louisville."

Do you have a top five?

"Yes. This is not in any order: Alabama, Michigan, LSU, Arkansas and ... Clemson."

Are you planning on deciding early, or will you wait and take official visits?

"I'm not thinking of deciding early."

In mid-June Stover told GBW's Sam Webb regarding Michigan: "They've been my favorite team ever since I started watching football. I loved Desmond Howard!" ... and that he knows U-M commitment Max Martin: "Yeah, I was at an Alabama game chillin' with him last year." However, in lieu of a U-M offer Alabama is considered the favorite.
