"Well, it's my first one, it's kind of exciting," Tucker told GoBlueWolverine last weekend at the Midwest Elite 7v7 Passing Tournament. "It keeps pushing me to do more. It keep pushing me to do better and continue to get more offers and go from there."
At 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, Tucker fits the mold as a tall athletic receiver who can go up and get the ball. He also is a lurking figure at the backend of the defense with his length and speed.. While he has the offer from the Tigers, he is hearing plenty of interest from notable schools around the country.
"I've been getting summer camp interest from Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina and Ohio State," he said. "I am definitely going to Clemson. I think I might be going to Georgia and South Carolina, too."
While on his visit to the Great Lake State, Tucker and his teammates went on a unofficial visit to Michigan last Sunday. Tucker said he was looking forward to his first visit in Ann Arbor.
"I want to get used to a different atmosphere (at Michigan.)" he said. "Because schools up here are way bigger. I mean, they are bigger than some of the southern schools I have seen before. I'm kind of excited, this is my first time in Michigan actually. I have never been to Michigan before. So it is all a new experience for me."
While Tucker's recruitment is sure to heat up over the next year, he says he will be looking for certain traits when he goes on his campus visits.
"I will be looking at the facilities, the fan base and what kind of school it is," he said.
At the moment, Tucker says he it's too early in his recruitment to give a decision timeline.
