Michigan 2015 Commit No. 2

Jon Runyan Jr. commits to Michigan today and is the second player to commit in the 2015 class.

Last week Jon Runyan Jr. got his dream offer to become a Michigan Wolverine. And today that dream is a reality, as Runyan Jr. announced that he would become a Wolverine today on his Twitter account.

"Proud to be part of Team 136 #GoBlue," said Runyan Jr. earlier today on Twitter.

Not even a week has passed since Runyan Jr. has received his U-M offer. But the writing was on the wall then, that he was soon to be a Wolverine.

"I love Michigan," he said. "I would love to play here. It's basically (the offer) I have been waiting for."

At 6-foot-3, 245-pounds, it was the first offer for Runyan Jr. and he made it clear he wasn't going to take long with his commitment to Michigan.

"I am going to go home and talk it over with my parents and my coach," he said. "I know Taylor Lewan, so I'm also going to talk with him. I am probably going to talk (with trusted friends and family) and make a decision … like in a week or two I think."

Runyan Jr. is the second commitment in Michigan's 2015 class. He is the son of former All-Big Ten offensive lineman, Jon Runyan, who starred for the Wolverines' from 1993-95.
